“Protected” features moss dripping off of tree branches in the forest. I started painting this piece while camped next to a river in an old growth forest on Mt. Hood. I felt protected by the wise old trees and blanket of moss. I believe this is Cat Tail moss, native to the Pacific Northwest. It always amazes me when you see it covering the trees, giving the forest a magical feel.

This painting has hardware on the back, so it’s ready to hang. The sides of the 1 1/2″ deep wood panel are painted green. It will look great on your wall as is. It can also be framed.
