As you peer deep into a tiny flower, you can connect to the universe! We are all made of the same molecules as the earth and stars afterall. This original painting by Amy Daileda is of a close up view of Oregon Grape flowers. Oregon Grape is a native Oregon plant and also Oregon’s state flower! I used macro photos of the Oregon Grape flowers in my yard and pieces I clipped and brought into the studio as reference for the painting. The sharp leaves protect soft gentle flowers. This bright and cheery painting will bring an uplifting feeling to your home as you contemplate your connection to the universe.
