“Ghost Flower” is a piece I started while camping next to a river in an old growth forest. The unusual Ghost Flower plant was growing in our campsite. Amazingly, this plant has no chlorophyll, so it can’t make its own food! It relies on a fungal network to connect it to a nearby tree for sustenance. The Ghost Flower is an excellent example of how everything is connected in our universe. It grows only in mature forests.

This painting has hardware on the back, so it’s ready to hang. The sides of the 1 1/2″ deep wood panel are painted the same green as the background. It will look great on your wall as is. It can also be framed.
