This is a closeup study of the tiny Bitter Nightshade Flower. I worked from a macro photo I took of this 3/8″ flower. When you dive in to see the details this amazing flower comes into view. I discovered this plant growing in our driveway! Some consider it a weed but I consider it a work of art. Beauty can have a dark side too. The Bitter Nightshade plant is poisonous and has stinky leaves, but it also has medicinal uses and this incredible color and design.

This painting has hardware on the back, so it’s ready to hang. The sides of the 1 1/2″ deep wood panel are painted the same green as the background. It will look great on your wall as is. It can also be framed.
