Join us September 12 from 3-7pm in the Concordia Commons for the 2026 Concordia Artist Collective Art Show. 8 artists from the Concordia neighborhood will be exhibiting original art in a free outdoor fine art show and sale at NE 30th & Killingsworth St. This is the show’s second year, and it will include more artists.
When asked about last year’s event, Liz Borowski said “It felt like the event had its own heart beat. It had such good vibes!” Liz will be one of the artists exhibiting this year along with Anne Jennings Paris, Amy Daileda, Lisa Laser, Andrea Morris, Carol Armstrong Ioanovici, James Hook and Gesine Kratzner. Liz is a mixed media artist who will be exhibiting her nature based art work that combines watercolor and embroidery. She teaches watercolor classes in her home studio.
“One of my favorite things about neighborhood art shows is getting to talk with people about the work” says Anne Jennings Paris who will be exhibiting her encaustic paintings at the show. Her recent work is inspired by the flowers and colors of summer gardens.
Amy Daileda will also be showing garden inspired art–vibrant, detailed acrylic paintings of Pacific Northwest native plants. Her home studio has a view of her yard, which provides much inspiration.
Lisa Laser will be exhibiting small acrylic paintings of snarky creatures on upcycled wood as well as oil paintings of landscapes, birds, and figures.
Andrea Morris is a linocut artist with an affinity for bold colors, strong patterns, and imperfection. Find her line of paper goods as well as hand printed original art at the show.
Carol Armstrong Ioanovici enjoys painting on discarded wood. She will be sharing art that is inspired by nature and her patterns.
James Hook is a self taught artist who started painting during lockdown. They will show work that is figurative and explores themes of relationships and everyday life.
Gesine Kratzner is a sculptor who works in clay. She creates creatures that embody emotions, with themes that are light hearted and humorous, spreading some much needed happiness.
Lisa Laser says “I’m looking forward to being in such a welcoming space with a group of artists who all share a love of the Concordia neighborhood. This is our second event together, and I hope people will enjoy coming out and seeing us and take the time to connect with their neighbors and city.” The Concordia Neighborhood Association is sponsoring the event.
